Recreation with Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water owns 91 reservoirs varying in size from 2 acres to 1026 acres and manages what is probably the single largest group of still water trout fisheries in the UK. As well as offering fishing, many of the sites have a wide range of recreation facilities on and around each reservoir.

Watersports are particularly popular and include sailing, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding and windsurfing. At some sites, equipment hire and tuition are available. For those who prefer to stay on dry land: walking on the many way marked paths and trails, bird watching with the use of bird hides and access to the Visitor Centres provide lots to see and do.

If you are planning to tour around, you’ll find venues operated on behalf of Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water throughout Wales. Educational visits for schools are catered for by arrangement. Click on one of the links below to view our other Centres.
