CANOE AND KAYAKING
Taster session
2 hour taster session to try out paddling a canoe or kayak. After a brief coaching session, we’ll go on a journey around the reservoir in a canoe or kayak. £50 per person. Minimum of 2 people needed
BCU 1 Star Award
The BCU 1 Star is designed as an introductory award. You don’t need to have any prior experience in canoeing, kayaking or paddling and the award can be taken in any type of paddlesport craft. The award provides those new to the sport with a clear stepping stone towards becoming a paddler. You will leave this one day course with the beginnings of the skills for basic paddling techniques. £85 each person. Minimum of two people needed to run a course
BCU 2 Star Award (Canoe & Kayak)
The BCU 2 Star is an improvement award that helps paddlers develop fundamental paddlesport skills on flat water in canoe and kayak. The emphasis is on gaining a breadth of experience, creating the desired movement of the boat and developing an understanding of how the paddle, boat and water interact. The course is provided over 2 days. (The BCU 2 Star is a competency award and as such attaining the award is not guaranteed). Training £160 per person. Minimum of 2 people needed to run a course

All canoe and kayak courses are run by British Canoe Union (BCU) qualified instructors. A safety boat is always on standby.
